| Gas Turbine Plant, Greenville, SC – Turbine Stacking Pit Controls Upgrade
Upstate Engineering provided engineering services to upgrade the control system for an existing Turbine Stacking Pit. Four motors, with variable speed drives, support and vertically position a table in the pit. Operators load parts and adjust the position of the table while assembling turbines. The control system utilizes an inclinometer to automatically adjust the vertical positions of the four corners of the table. We provided control system design, equipment specifications, programming, on-site startup support, and training. |

| Carpet Fibers Plant, Irmo, SC – Zero Interruptions Process (ZIP) Spinning Machine Control System Upgrades
Upstate Engineering provided engineering services to upgrade the control systems for two ZIP Spinning lines. The control system included multiple controllers to operate 16 spinning panels, Process Fire Detection/Suppression, Process HVAC, and Building HVAC equipment.
