Upstate Engineering provided engineering services to upgrade an existing Batch Control System and install equipment for a new Mix System. The new equipment included seven storage tanks, two holding tanks, two mixers, and two kneaders. The new Batch Control System utilized primary and backup VMware ESXi servers. The batch management system provides the flexibility required to make multiple products using the same processing equipment. Upstate Engineering provided engineering services to relocate and automate a Chemical Batch Mixing Process. The equipment included nine raw material Storage Tanks and 10 Mix Tanks. This process produces chemicals with specific UV properties required for use in the printing industry. The new manufacturing area included two fully automated reactor systems, eight automated mix tanks, 17 bulk storage tanks, and the associated utilities.
